Police box in car used to 'run over' GBH victim at Chesterfield's Horns Bridge roundabout

Police trapped a car of a suspect wanted for an alleged GBH attack at Chesterfield’s Horns Bridge roundabout yesterday.

Officers from the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit said the Seat Leon had been used ‘to run the victim over in Ripley’.

A spokesperson for the police unit tweeted yesterday: “Male wanted on suspicion of GBH including where this Leon was used to run the victim over in Ripley. Boxed in at Horns Bridge.

"Male arrested and vehicle recovered. No insurance, naturally.”
