You can see Santa on these streets in Chesterfield this weekend

Santa and a very special elf will be visiting streets in Hollingwood on Saturday (December 19) to spread some festive cheer.

Families will be able to see the man himself for socially-distanced visits which are being organised by a group of councillors in the area.

Santa’s elf for the day will be schoolgirl Sky Morrell, who has done a lot of work lifting the spirits of Hollingwood residents during the pandemic, including creating and hand-delivering her own art work to every household on her road. to support the NHS.

Councillor Mick Bagshaw, who represents Hollingwood, said he was delighted to welcome Sky to the float.

The tour will begin at 4pm on Station Road, before moving on to Hollingwood Crescent and Laburnam Street.

Between 4.15 and 4.30pm Santa will be at Maple Street, Lilac Street and Laurel Crescent, before heading to Cedar Street, Pine Street, Elm Street and Sycamore Road.

Before 5pm he will also visit Beech Street and Oak Street.
