Reverend Daniel Cooke, rector of the church, said: “Like most churches and community groups, we at St Michael and All Angels are not able to host most of our usual annual activities for Christmas this year due to ongoing restrictions.

“In response to this, the leadership team at St Michaels thought it would be nice for children in the parish to see Santa walking around their streets.

“We at Brimington church hope and pray that everyone has a lovely Christmas this year in spite of the pandemic, and we hope we can help bring a few smiles to people’s faces by arranging for Santa to come and visit our streets.”

The church has Covid-secure measures in place for the visits.
