Man had large knife ‘tucked into his waistband’ in Derbyshire

Police have arrested a man after he was found to be in possession of a large knife and drugs in Derbyshire.

Officers from Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit said on Wednesday they saw someone ‘driving around Tibshelf Services against the one way system’.

“A very good way to attract our attention,” they remarked.

The car was stopped and the passenger was found to have a large knife tucked into his waistband and approximately 100 class A drug wraps in his pockets.

He was subsequently arrested.
