The tabloid deleted the article after it emerged 40-year-old Ms Flack was found dead in her London flat on Saturday.

Mr Hague has also deleted the card from his online store.

A lawyer for Ms Flack’s family said she had sadly taken her own life.

Her management company said she had been ‘under huge pressure’ since she was accused of assaulting her boyfriend Lewis Burton – a charge she denied.

She was due to stand trial next month.

On social media, a number of people were critical of the card.

Others called for people for ‘simmer down‘ and to refrain from aiming online abuse at Mr Hague.

Mr Hague did not wish to comment about his card when contacted by the Derbyshire Times.

Ms Flack had co-hosted The X Factor and won Strictly Come Dancing in 2014, as well as presenting ITV dating show Love Island.
