An 80-year-old Clay Cross resident has taken part in Dementia UK's 'Walk 30 Miles In September' awareness and fund raising campaign.

Harry has surpassed the target and has now walked 41.64 miles raising over £1,130.

He said: “I have been amazed at the generousity of the wonderful people of Clay Cross and Danesmoor. As I have ambled around the town I have been approached several times and given donations, I even had a lady stop her car to make a donation.”
