Motorcyclist seriously injured after Ilkeston road crash
A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the motorbike he was riding was in collision with a parked lorry.
The incident took place at about 3.30am, today, Friday, March 27, close to the Seven Oaks Pub, in Lows Lane, Stanton-by-Dale, Ilkeston.
He was taken by ambulance to Royal Derby Hospital and later transferred to Queen’s Medical Centre, in Nottingham, where he remains in a serious condition.
A section of Lows Lane has been closed while an investigation into the incident is carried out.
