Motorcyclist hospitalised after Clowne smash
A young man is in hospital with serious injuries after his motorbike collided with a car in Clowne.
The accident happened at around 8.55pm last night (Sunday, April 27) when a 20-year-old man’s bike collided with a Volkswagen Golf on Low Road.
The rider, from Clowne, was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. The driver of the Golf was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released on bail.
Police said the road was closed while the vehicles were recovered. They appealed for witnesses to come forward and ring 101.
