Motorcyclist dies in Derbyshire

Police were called to a collision between a car and a motorcycle at around 11.40am this morning (Saturday, 7 March) on Derby Road in Draycott.

The ambulance service was also in attendance but the 49-year-old motorcyclist was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Formal identification of the man is yet to take place.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam footage to call 101, quoting reference 20*130109.
