Police have been forced to close a road after a serious crash in a Derbyshire town this afternoon – with drivers being urged to avoid the area.
Derbyshire Police confirmed at 2.20pm today (Tuesday, September 8) that Hardy Barn in Heanor has been closed due to a serious collision.
The closure of the route is in place between the Munday Arms and the Shipley Motor Company.
A force spokesperson added that drivers should avoid the area and find alternative routes to complete their journeys.
