Two suspected burglars on the loose in Derbyshire

Derbyshire police are hunting two suspected burglars who have absconded from Sudbury open prison.

Mitchell Humphries, 21, absconded on Sunday 7 February and was last seen at around 3pm.

He is described as white, around 5ft 5ins tall and of slim build, with brown eyes and brown hair.

Simon Murphy, 31, was last seen at HMP Sudbury on Wednesday 10 February.

He is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, with blue eyes and blonde hair.

Both men were convicted, separately, for burglary at Wolverhampton Crown Court in 2019.

The police said they both have links to the West Midlands.

Those with information are urged to contact the police by quoting reference numbers 21*78237 (for Humphries) or 21*82116 (for Murphy).
