Precious items swiped in Chesterfield house burglary

Police are investigating after cash, a watch and a handbag were stolen during the burglary of a house in Chesterfield.

The items, which included a long strapped blue GiGi handbag and a silver metal Seiko with an engraving of David, were stolen from a house in Blandford Drive, Newbold, between 11am on August 16 and 8am the following day.

A number of stolen items were found dumped in Blandford Drive the following day after being emptied of their contents.
