Construction of Chesterfield’s new McDonald’s restaurant begins

The construction of Chesterfield’s new McDonald’s restaurant has started.

It comes after the fast food chain told the Derbyshire Times last week that the outlet would open near the West Bars roundabout ‘in the coming weeks’.

Sixty-five jobs will be created when the restaurant and drive-thru launches.

It will be McDonald’s third outlet in the town.

A McDonald’s spokesperson said they were ‘really excited’ about the new restaurant taking shape, adding: “We’re looking forward to seeing our customers, new and old, enjoy our services.”
