Police stop driver in Chesterfield who repaired car with 'brown parcel tape'

Police have pulled over a driver in the Chesterfield area who repaired his car with ‘brown parcel tape’.

Officers seized the vehicle after making the stop in Staveley.

Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit said checks had also revealed the car was being driven without insurance and with its front registration plate missing.

A spokesperson for the police unit said today on Twitter: “Staveley. Repairs car with brown parcel tape and surprised to get stop checked. No front plate either. No insurance.”
