People urged not to approach prisoner who has absconded from Derbyshire jail

A prisoner has absconded from Derbyshire’s HMP Sudbury – with people urged not to approach him.

Antonio Romero absconded from the Derbyshire Dales prison today (14 July) at 3.15pm.

The 46-year-old, who is serving a four-year sentence for two counts of receiving stolen goods, is described as white, 6ft 3ins tall, and has brown eyes, brown hair and is of medium build.

If you have seen him or know of his whereabouts, police say do not approach him. Call 101 immediately, quoting reference number 593 of 14 July.
