Man charged with possession of knife and drugs offences in Derbyshire

A man has been charged with drug offences and allegedly possessing a knife in Derbyshire.

Officers stopped a car being driven the wrong way along a one-way system at Tibshelf Services on April 13.

A seach revealed the passenger had a knife tucked into his waistband and approximately 100 drug wraps in his pockets.

Adeel Hussain, 18, of Almond Street, Derby, has been charged with possessing a knife in public, possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply and possessing cannabis.

He will appear before Derby magistrates tomorrow.
