The programme, which gives viewers a behind the scenes look at the work of traffic officers around the UK, will begin at 8pm on Channel 5.

Last week’s first episode of the new series saw officers dealing with a car travelling at 165mph on the M1 and a violent criminal protesting his innocence after being arrested.

The series, which is presented by Jamie Theakston, has regularly featured officers from Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit dealing with major incidents on the county’s busiest roads.

Officers from the Derbyshire force previously appeared in both 2019 and 2020, with other locations featured in the past including South Wales, Sussex and Hertfordshire.
