Derbyshire's road crime unit back in action as Traffic Cops returns to UK screens

Officers from Derbyshire’s road crime unit will be in action again on Monday night when Traffic Cops – Britain’s longest running and most watched police show – returns to UK screens.

Sunday, 28th February 2021, 11:12 am

The programme, which gives viewers a behind the scenes look at the work of traffic officers around the UK, will begin at 8pm on Channel 5.

Last week’s first episode of the new series saw officers dealing with a car travelling at 165mph on the M1 and a violent criminal protesting his innocence after being arrested.

It also featured a high-speed pursuit during which a hammer was thrown at an officer's vehicle from a van travelling at 60mph.
