Dangerous Derbyshire driver fined over £500 for speeding at 127 mph on A38

A 29-year-old Derbyshire man has been found guilty of dangerous driving and fined more than £500 after he travelled at 127 mph on the A38.

Scott Belmore, of Heathfield Avenue, Etwall was caught speeding on February 22, 2021.

The 29-year-old was observed travelling at up to 127 mph on the A38 – which has a speed limit of 70 mph – while undertaking vehicles.

Belmore, who has been disqualified for 18 months, is required to take an extended driving retest and ordered to pay £546 in fines.
