The force’s road crime unit followed the motorist driving an Audi in Chesterfield on Thursday, August 12 who they said “kindly went down a dead end” as they were about to pull the vehicle over.
While searching the vehicle, officers found “numerous wraps” of suspected cocaine on display in the centre console and also a key which opened a safe in a nearby property which contained further suspected cocaine and cannabis.
The driver was arrested and the suspected drugs seized.
