CCTV captures person spray painting graffiti on Clay Cross High Street

Police have released CCTV footage of a person caught spray painting graffiti on High Street in Clay Cross.

Officers from Clay Cross Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for information after a figure was captured on video illegally writing on a wall on High Street with a spray can.

In the CCTV footage, a figure is seen to walk and look around the area a couple of times before reaching for a spray can and then writing an unknown phrase on a wall, next to a road sign.

The video was captured at 8.38pm on Saturday, March 13.

Police are urging anyone who recognises the person in the footage to come forward as soon as possible.

Anyone who has information about the incident should send Clay Cross SNT a personal message via their Facebook page or ring non-emergency contact number 101, referencing 21*142915 and PC 2762 Bates, the officer related to the case.
