Officers said they have received multiple reports of cats being injured in the neighbourhood, with wounds that were consistent with being attacked by a person as opposed to being hit by a vehicle or bitten by another animal.

It comes after a ‘much loved’ family cat was kicked with such force between 8.30pm and 11.30pm on Wednesday, October 7, that it suffered a broken pelvis.
