'Anti-social' youths in Derbyshire allegedly threw dog poo at vehicle

A group of ‘anti-social’ youths were reportedly seen in Derbyshire throwing dog poo at a vehicle in a car park.

Police in the Shirland area are appealing for witnesses who saw the youths causing anti-social behaviour on the car park outside the village hall.

Images of the the gang of four who reportedly threw dog poo at a car and in the children’s park were released online, which showed the youths wearing puffer jackets with their hoods up, tracksuit bottoms and carrying a bike.

In a message posted on social media on Friday, February 12, officers from the Stonebroom, Pilsley, Shirland and Morton Police Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “For reasons known only to them, they were throwing bags of dog mess at the pictured vehicle and also on to the children's park.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the young people pictured in the photos is urged to message police via their Facebook page or call non-emergency contact number 101.
