A number of shops, restaurants and banks have closed across Chesterfield over recent months, due to trading and lockdown restrictions and changes in people’s habits.
Here are some of those retailers and food outlets which will not be reopening in Chesterfield.

1. Debenhams
Debenhams was liquidated in December 2020, with 12,000 staff losing their jobs and spelling the end of its store at Ravenside Retail Park. The shop, along with the 20 of the chain’s last 48 stores, will close permanently on Wednesday, May 12. Photo: JPIMedia
2. Chesterfiield firm Kirby and Sons are closing their business at the end of this month

3. Stephensons Tea & Coffee House

4. Chiquito
