9. Tissington Trail
This 13-mile cycleway runs along a former railway line linking Buxton to Ashbourne. The former stations along the route have car parks, some have refreshments and toilets. There's cycle hire at the beginning of the trail at Parsley Hay and at its southern tip in Ashbourne.

This two-mile trail connects Peter Fidler Reserve, Carr Vale Nature Reserve and Glapwell countryside site, where there's a blue grade mountain bike track to explore.
