I’ve lived in Derbyshire for several years, and in that time, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting a number of great places to eat.
I‘ve compiled a list of my favourites below, including everything from Peak District country pubs to high-end culinary experiences – will you be making plans to visit any of these eateries over the coming weeks?

17. Il Forno, Sheffield Road, Chesterfield
Il Forno is the last of the Chesterfield Italian restaurants to feature in this list - and is up there with the very best places to eat in the town. If you’re a fan of delicious Italian favourites at reasonable prices, you’re going to love a visit to Il Forno - so make sure to consider this restaurant the next time you’re making plans to head out for a meal. 18. Einstein's, Chesterfield
Einstein’s is definitely one of the best pubs to visit in Chesterfield town centre. There aren’t many places with a better selection of drinks, with a number of different German beers - all of which are very reasonably priced. Einstein’s also offers a varied menu featuring a number of German-inspired dishes - and all have impressed me whenever I have eaten at the venue. Photo: Google

19. Sorbo Lounge, Market Place, Chesterfield
Sorbo Lounge is another good option for anyone looking to enjoy a meal in Chesterfield town centre. This venue offers a relaxed atmosphere, a varied menu and great food at reasonable prices - making it a perfect place to visit over the autumn months. Photo: Google
