First look around Derbyshire town park's new café in pictures

A new cafe in a Derbyshire town’s park has welcomed its first customers.

Park Life Cafè at The Swiss Tea Rooms in the River Gardens in Belper capitalised on the long Easter weekend by serving hot food for the first time.

We sent our photographer along to see inside the new building, which has been constructed on the site of a former tearooms which was closed by the early Eighties after falling into disrepair.

The calming colour scheme complements the natural surroundings.
