17. Make a splash
Chesterfield Queen's Park swimming pool officially opened on July 19, 1969. Pictured here in August 15, 1968 - the diving board was firmly in position but the water was rather murky as the building work continued. The centre closed at the end of December 2015, a few days before the new £11.25million Queen's Park Sports Centre opened further up Boythorpe Avenue. Photo: JP
