We have gathered the Derbyshire infant and junior schools which have been rated ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted inspectors in 2022.

Ofsted inspectors visit schools across England to ensure that the educational institutions are performing well and preparing pupils for further education and life in a community.
Each school is given a rating – outstanding, good, requires improvement, or inadequate.

9. Winster CofE Primary School
The report carried out in May rated the school as good. It found that pupils thrive at this small village school. Inspectors said: 'Positive relationships and the school’s nurturing

The inspection carried out in March concluded that Copthorne Community Infant School continues to be a good school. Pupils feel safe and say that bullying is rare. A high priority at this school is to teach pupils to read. Leaders have recently introduced a new approach to teaching phonics. The new programme is well taught. Photo: Google
The inspection of Parwich Primary School on May 10 found that the school continues to be good. Ofsted inspectors named Parwich Primary a 'flourishing school with a family feel about the place.' The report found that pupils are happy and enjoy their learning. The curriculum has been organised to ensure that students build their knowledge and skills gradually. An inspection on May 5 found that Mickley Infant School on Milton Avenue in Stretton is still 'good'. Inspectors said that the school has a warm, friendly atmosphere and a caring ethos. In discussion with the headteacher, the inspectors agreed that further developments in the curriculum, subject leadership and early years may usefully serve as a focus for the next inspection.
