One of Derbyshire’s oldest family businesses is celebrating after being named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month for the very first time

150-year-old family business T. Nutt & Sons scooped the accolade, which is widely regarded as one of the highest recognitions a company can receive.

This award carries even greater significance because it is judged across every Which? Trusted Trader member in the UK, regardless of their trade or profession.

The carpet and flooring business, based in Clay Cross, remains proudly family owned. David Nutt, alongside Director Keven Nutt and manager Andrew Gregory, continues to build on a reputation that has been passed from one generation to the next.

Managing Director David Nutt described the award as a proud moment for everyone connected with the company.

“Receiving this award is a tremendous honour,” he said. “Which? is one of the most respected consumer organisations in the country, so to be recognised by them in this way means an enormous amount to us.
