Dr Miriam Silver, an award winning consultant clinical psychologist and founder of Matlock-based BERRI Ltd, has been shortlisted for the 2026 Tide everywoman Entrepreneur Awards.

The awards, launched in 2003 , are the UK’s longest-running recognition programme for women in business.

Chosen from nearly a thousand entries across the UK, the finalists range from early-stage founders to entrepreneurs running multi-million-pound businesses, working across sectors including accountancy, education, fashion, fitness and health and social care.

Dr Silver, who is shortlisted in the Entrepreneur for Good Award category presented by Specsavers, has been recognised for making a positive social impact with her business.

Launched in 2011, BERRI offers a digitally-delivered, evidence-based psychological assessment tool designed by Dr Silver to identify, track and improve the outcomes of children with complex needs.

The Matlock-based business offers a range of services including ADHD, autism and comprehensive psychological assessments as well as therapeutic support.

Dr Silver said: “It is fabulous to be recognised in such a prestigious national award as the Tide everywoman Entrepreneur Awards, particularly at a time when we are trying to get the word out about BERRI to parents, schools, health and care organisations that could benefit.

“These awards have celebrated Britain’s most inspirational female entrepreneurs from all ages, backgrounds and corners of the UK for 23 years, and involve expert judges selecting worthy finalists from thousands of nominations.

“It is an honour to join their ranks and to showcase what I, and the company, have achieved to date and our ambitions to make even more impact for children in future.”

The awards ceremony will take place at The Londoner in Leicester Square in London on December 2 with one finalist selected to receive a £10,000 grant from headline partner Tide to help grow their business.
