Arena marketing manager Simon Bailey said: “We are delighted that Miranda is adding a second date to the Sheffield leg of her tour.

“Our first ever comedy show here at the arena was Eddie Izzard in 2003, since that sell-out show comedy has become the new rock’n’ roll, regularly selling out multiple nights in the 12,000 seating arena.

“Comedians such as Peter Kay, Lee Evans, Michael McIntyre, Alan Carr, Bill Bailey, John Bishop, Tim Minchin and many more have played more than 50 nights to over 370,000 customers and now Miranda could be leading the way for a wave of female comedians to take centre stage at the Motorpoint Arena.”

Tickets for Miranda’s second Sheffield date are priced £30.25 and family tickets cost £90.20, available in person at the arena box office, by phone on 0114 256 5656 or online at www.motorpointarenasheffield.co.uk
