In an email to all Unlimited customers, they said: "As we expect to re-open our cinemas very soon, in line with current UK government guidance, we wanted to get in touch to let you know about some exciting changes to Unlimited memberships.

"We are introducing Unlimited Membership Groups for new and existing members. There will be four Groups, each containing a number of Cineworld cinemas, with different pricing. Your monthly Unlimited Membership fee will depend on the Group your local Cineworld falls into.”

Chesterfield Cineworld falls into Unlimited Membership Group 2 meaning it will now cost just £15.99 a month for members compared to £18.99 previously, or a one-off annual payment of £191.88.

"This makes it even more affordable for customers to enjoy unlimited films, 10 per cent discount off cinema snacks and drinks, plus 25 per cent off at our partner restaurants,” a spokesperson for Cineworld added.

"All existing and new members also have the option to upgrade to a higher Group in order to use their Unlimited card at more cinemas."
