Changes to Chesterfield Pomegranate Theatre’s cinema programme

Emergency repairs to the heating system at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre have forced reschedulings and cancellations in the cinema programme.

The film 23 Walks, which was due to run from tonight (Friday, September 25) until October 1 will now be screened from October 3 to October 8.

A satellite broadcast of David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet, due to be screened on Monday, September 28, has been cancelled.

A showing of Matthew Bourne’s The Red Shoes on Wednesday, September 30, has been cancelled. Ticket-holders have the option of transferring to the film’s screening on September 30.

Also cancelled are Unhinged on October 2 and Eternal Beauty on October 4 and 7.

A press release from the theatre said: “We apologise for any disappointment this has caused. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all customers who have shown their support by visiting the theatre since it reopened in July.”
