Twycross Zoo is offering free entrance for mums on Mother's Day - and here is how you get it

A spokesman for the zoo for has said they are being a “totally inclusive on the term mum”, so any selfless person who goes above and beyond to care for a child, whether that be dad, nan, aunt, uncle or even a friend, will be rewarded with a free day out on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22.

Hide AdTwycross Zoo is the only place in the UK to see all four great apes and is home to some doting animal mums too, including Orangutans, Kibriah and Maliku. Visitors can watch as the wonderful mothers swing around their spacious habitat always closely accompanied by their little ones.
Karen Clarke, chief operating officer at Twycross Zoo, said: “Mother’s Day is a special time here at Twycross Zoo and it’s always lovely to see so many families heading to us for a memorable day out. We like to say a big thank you to all mums and guardians by offering them free entry to the zoo, it’s the least they deserve for everything they do all year round.”
