The Twin Oaks began life as a row of colliery cottages, which have been redesigned and configured to create a hotel complex. During the warmer months visitors can sit outside in the beer garden with its feature water fountain. The hotel has a range of menus, including breakfast, light bites, evening menu, Sunday lunch and carvery. On the main evening menu, options include the likes of chicken New Orleans, wild mushroom risotto, Cajun salmon steak and pan-seared tuna loin. Also available are items from the grill and fajitas.
