A story detailing a further easing of lockdown restrictions, that came into effect on July 4, was by far our most popular story with an incredible 181,000 views. The changes included allowing two households to meet in any setting, the two-metre social distancing rule being reduced to "one-metre plus" and the reopening of hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars and pubs. 2. 2, Bolsover house covered in metres-high black graffiti message accusing owner of not paying bills
A story about a house in Bolsover being covered in huge black writing thought to be revenge for the owner not paying their bill for getting their house painted proved popular with readers. It was the second most read story with 165,000 page views. The message, written in enormous black-painted lettering, read: “Want your house painting? Don’t be like Terry, pay the bill! 4. 4, Every Derbyshire pub for sale right now - there are more than 15
In the middle of lockdown, after the pubs had been closed for more than a month, a story about the Derbyshire pubs up for sale proved popular and is the fourth most read Derbyshire Times story of the year. It was published on April 26, and since then it has brought in 89,000 page views Photo: s
