Here are the 11 best-rated nurseries and pre-school in Chesterfield according to Ofsted’s reports.

1. Abercrombie Primary School
Abercrombie Primary School on Higher Albert Street is rated 'good'. "The quality of teaching in the early years is consistently good," Ofsted said in 2019.
2. Hady Primary and Nursery School
Hady Primary and Nursery School, on Hady Lane, is rated 'good'. "The proportion of the children reaching a good level of development by the end of the early years has improved steadily since the last inspection," Ofsted said in 2018.

3. Brampton Primary School
Brampton Primary School on School Board Lane is rated 'good'. "Good leadership of the early years ensures that activities always have a clear learning purpose and that
children can learn and develop indoors and out," Ofsted said in 2015.
4. Hasland Infant School
Hasland Infant School, on Eyre Street East, is rated 'good'. "By the end of the early years, the proportion of children who have reached the levels expected for their age is consistently above average," Ofsted said in 2017.
