Roarsome fun for little ones as 14 dinosaurs descend on Derby shopping centre for Easter holiday
Dinosaur fans can discover their favourite prehistoric creatures on an epic trail at a Derbyshire shopping centre this Easter.
Fourteen roaring, moving dinosaurs including the mighty Tyrannosauraus Rex and the flapping Pteranodon will be in situ at Derbion in Derby from March 27 to April 12. Eager explorers can pick up a free trail map from the customer service desk to guide them through their adventure.
Budding palaeontologists can also get hands-on with Derbion’s Fossil Finders workshops for just £3 per child. On selected dates throughout the Easter holiday, little adventurers can dig, discover and piece together ancient fossils and bones, before working together to build a dinosaur skeleton. Shoppers are advised to book in advance via www.derbion.com/events/dinos-fossil-finders-dig
Plus, there’s plenty of roar-some photo opportunities for families to enjoy for free – including a Baby Dino Egg that children can pose within.
Beth McDonald, managing director of Derbion, said: “We’re passionate about delivering exciting, family-friendly events for our visitors to enjoy all year round, so we’re pleased to reveal that our ever-popular Dinos will return this year.
“The return of Derbion Dinos highlights our commitment to delivering memorable, immersive experiences for all ages.”
Shoppers can also discover Derbion’s wide range of shops, eateries and leisure attractions throughout the break, including Social Sports Society, Hollywood Bowl, Paradise Island Adventure Golf and Showcase Cinema De Lux.
