5. Cromford canal

6. Derwent Reservoir and Ladybower Reservoir.

7. Stanton Moor
Stanton Moor is home to the famous Nine Ladies Stone Circle, which is believed to date back to Bronze Age. You can also marvel at the impressive gritstone rocks which stick out of the ground. Start at the village of Birchover for a gentle three mile walk. Photo: Jason Chadwick
