5. Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa - Pott Shrigley
Many spas offer a twilight package, but not like this. This spa redefines the meaning; with its firepits and outdoor heated infinity pool, that gives you front row seats to the sunset in the stretching dales beyond. You can enjoy twilight access to the Bazaar Spa with packages starting from just £29 per person, between 6pm and 9pm inclusive of a welcome drink. This includes access to the outdoor infinity pool, indoor pool, whirlpool spas, steam room and sauna as well as a robe, towel, and locker. 6. Hoar Cross Hote - Burton upon Trent
This is a splurge and well worth the special treat. Sat in acres of beautiful woodlands and grounds, the hall is a masterpiece from the 1800’s and offers a spa that’s second to none in its aqua facilities. It has the Kneipp Foot Massage spa as well as a foot and neck massage water system. There’s an arctic cold plunge pool that I didn’t visit, but the saltwater pool that’s in this beautiful starlit cave was where I hung mostly.
