7. Matlock Aquarium, Matlock Bath
Can't go on a foreign beach holiday or visit the British seaside this year? Check out the wonders of the deep on your doorstep at Matlock Aquarium which has more than 50 species of fish as well as terrapins. It's also home to the only remaining 'petrifying' well in Matlock Bath where objects such as a bowler hat and a pint glass have been turned to stone.
