Toyah and Hazel O'Connor tour their 80s hits to Derbyshire

Post punk and new wave artists Toyah and Hazel O’Connor will tour their Electric Ladies of the 80s show to Derbyshire.

The pair bring their hit-packed retro feast to Buxton Opera House on Monday, September 28. This show has been rescheduled from April 24, amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Each artist will be backed by a full electric band when they perform their own set and team up for duets. Expect to hear classic hits Thunder In The Mountains, Eighth Day, It’s A Mystery, Will You, I Want To Be Free, D-Days and many more.

Toyah has racked up ten hit singles and eight albums including the gold-selling Anthem and last year’s chart success, In The Court of the Crimson Queen. As an actress, Toyah’s film credits include Quadrophenia and Jubilee and she has appeared in theatre shows such as Calamity Jane and Trafford Tanzi.

Hazel O’Connor starred in the legendary film Breaking Glass for which she won the Variety Club Award and its accompanying soundtrack saw her nominated for a BAFTA. Her latest album is Hallelelujah Moments.
