Sinfonia Viva's donations plea to supporters of Hannells Darley Park At Home concert
Sinfonia Viva is asking people who watch The Hannells Darley Park “At Home” virtual concert tonight (Sunday, August 30) to donate the usual price of the ticket (£5), or whatever they can afford, to help secure the orchestra’s future.
The virtual concert is being provided and funded by Derby City Council free of charge this year and is available online from 6pm via BBC Radio Derby’s Facebook LIVE and iPlayer and on BBC Radio Derby.

“However, we hope that fans will watch the online concert from the comfort of their homes and gardens this year and help keep the spirit of this important event alive in 2020.
“Covid has put paid to a busy programme of concerts, community and education work that we had planned this year and this has hit us financially.
"As a registered charity, we make a difference to the lives of many people and I hope that the fans will help to ensure we can continue to perform at future concerts, by donating on our website.”
