New dates to see Texas play in Sheffield and Nottingham

HIt-making band Texas will be treating fans to new tunes and old favourites when they play in Nottingham and Sheffield on a rescheduled tour.

Renowned as one of the best bands to come out of Scotland, Texas will be playing at Nottingham Royal Cncert Hall on May 22 and Sheffield City Hall on May 26 next year.

The tour will celebrate their 1989 debut album, Southside, which the band will play in full after it went down a storm at their fastest selling show ever in Glasgow in 2019.

The new Texas album, Hi, is due out on January 1, 2021, and choice cuts from that will also feature in the live shows alongside all the hits that fans love.

Texas have racked up a string of hits over the years including I Don’t Want A Lover, Black Eyed Boy, Say What You Want and Summer Son.

The band have sold more than 40 millions records, had 13 top ten UK singles, three number one albums and eight top ten UK albums since Sharleen Spiteri and Johnny McElhone formed Texas in 1986.
