New dates to see The Lovely Eggs in Sheffield and Nottingham

Fans of The Lovely Eggs will have to wait a little while longer to watch their favourite psychedelic punk rock band as tour dates in Sheffield and Nottingham have been rescheduled.

The band were due to tour this month, visiting Sheffield’s O2 Academy on February 17 and Nottingham’s Metronome the following night.

Now they will play in Nottingham on July 8, 2021, and in Sheffield on July 15, 2021.

The Lovely Eggs will be playing choice cuts from last year’s chart-topping album I Am Moron which was voted Album of the Day on BBC 6. Fans are likely to hear the single Long-Stem Carnations which was taken from the album and released last summer.

Husband and wife Holly Ross and David Blackwell, who make up The Lovely Eggs, have played nine sessions for BBC6.
