New arrival Chesterfield Music Festival draws tribute acts to Dua Lipa, Little Mix, Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Killers to rugby ground

A new music festival at Chesterfield Rugby Club will feature top UK tribute acts performing the songs of world-famous superstars.

Billed as a family day out, Chesterfield Music Festival hits the Panthers’ ground at Dunston Road on Saturday, July 20, from 11.30am until 10.30pm (last entry 8pm).

Tribute acts will air the hits of Rihanna, Coldplay, Little Mix, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Queen, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and Killers with DJ sets filling the slots between the live performances.

Funfair rides and bouncy castles will keep children and the young at heart happy throughout the day.

Burgers, churros, hotdogs, hog roast and Greek dishes on sale in the food court and bars offering lager, cider, wine, spirits and soft drinks will satisfy all tastes.

Standard tickets cost £27.75 (adult), £16.75 (children, 6-16 years), £76.15 (adults). To check ticket availability, go to https://www.skiddle.com. Parking, priced £5, is available in a field near the Chesterfield Panthers rugby ground.

The same promoters are behind Ilkeston Music Festival which attracted 5,000 visitors to the two-day event in June 2024. Commenting on the festival’s Facebook page, Rachel Syson said: “We absolutely loved it, the bands were fantastic.” Joanne Fahy wrote: “Great to see so many kids out enjoying themselves. Good selection of food and drink, reasonably priced.” Daniel March posted: “Had a fantastic day with the family.”
