Celebrity DJ Craig Charles will set the records spinning at a party night in Barrow Hill engine shed to launch the three-day Rail Ale festival.

The legendary actor from Robot Wars and Red Dwarf brings his Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club show to the visitor attraction on September 9, 2021.

Craig has grounded himself as a funk and soul icon broadcasting on BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music.

He has performed at numerous festivals including Glastonbury where he played to more than 10,000 people in 2016 and 2019.

Craig Charles will headline Rail Ale Party Night at Barrow Hill engine shed on September 9, 2021.

Highway Child, a soul, funk and blues band who have headlined the three previous Rail Ale festivals, will be the support act.
