Chesterfield bassist heading out on tour with rockers Lawson
After a four-year hiatus, the pop-rock quartet returned with a new single, Lovers, last year.
They are set to release their third album Cmd z in May – and have now announced an eight-date winter tour ending in a huge London show.

Hide AdThe tour kicks off at Leeds University Stylus on Thursday, October 28, and includes dates in Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol, Brighton, ending at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Saturday, November 6.
Frontman Andy Brown said: “We are so excited to get back out on the road.
“We planned to tour throughout 2020, but obviously that kept having to be pushed back.
“Now we can finally announce that we are heading back out on tour.”

Hide AdThe band – Andy, drummer Adam Pitts, guitarist Joel Peat and 31-year-old former Brookfield School pupil Ryan – broke through in 2012 with their debut album Chapman Square, which reached the top five in the UK album chart.
Since then, Lawson have had seven UK top-20 hits including Standing In The Dark, Juliet, Roads, When She Was Mine, Where My Loves Goes and Learn To Love Again.
