Chesterfield band The Rosadocs back with new single

With lockdown restrictions over the last 12 months putting live shows on hiatus, the quartet have been busy writing songs – and have now confirmed plans for their first release of 2021.

After releasing EP Two Wrongs Make a Riot in August 2020 and single Run Away Instead in November, their next single will be Settle Down, released on St George’s Day.

The band tweeted: Our new track, Settle Down, will be available on all streaming services from April 23, St George’s Day, 2021.

“This is our most lyrically complex song yet and also the track we’re most proud of creating.”

The band is made up of frontman Keelan Graney, from Clay Cross, lead guitarist Joe Egan, bassist Adam Sleight and drummer Callum Raynor.

The former Tupton Hall School pupils burst onto the local music scene in 2016, gaining a following relatively quickly thanks to sell-out gigs at Sheffield’s The Leadmill and 02 Academy.

And they are planning a busy year, with a sold-out show at the famous The Leadmill venue now planned for May 28, having been rearranged from February due to the pandemic.

Announcing the new date on Facebook, the band said: “We are beyond buzzing to play live for you all again. Gigs are back.”

They said: “You’re going to be seeing a hell of a lot of us in the next few weeks and months.

“We’ve been writing non-stop through the lockdowns. We’re so far in front that we have a few albums worth of tunes written. We can’t wait to play them live.”
