Chesterfield Panthers continued their fine form of late with a fifth consecutive win on Saturday, beating North Hykeham 72-0.

The match at Dunston Road wasn't as straightforward as the scoreline would suggest with the visitors coming into the game camped in midtable.

Panthers, though, are a team on form, with a 100 per cent record in 2020 thus far, and fifth spot in the Midlands 4 East (North) standings.

They have a trip to fourth-placed Cleethorpes this Saturday and a home match to second-placed East Retford the following week (8th February).

Elsewhere in the division, Tupton’s chance to build on their 24-13 win over Gainsborough was quashed as their scheduled home fixture against Cleethorpes was postponed.

Tupton are at third-placed Meden Vale on Saturday.
